South Tyneside is part of the Tyne and Wear conurbation, on the North East coast next to the River Tyne. It covers 64 square kilometres and comprises 6 diverse towns and villages, including South Shields, Jarrow, Hebburn, Whitburn, Boldon and Cleadon.
The South Tyneside Business Forum is an independent organisation run by, and for, members of the local business community. It encourages all companies in the borough; whether large multi-nationals, SMEs or sole traders; to work together to make South Tyneside an even better place to do business.
The Business Forum runs events and practical workshops which provide business information, mentor support and networking opportunities, while giving South Tyneside based businesses an opportunity to get involved with local and regional initiatives and have a direct input into shaping the future of the region.
